Listen

June 18, 2008

Just listen to this song and let go. Some of you have probably heard this song if you have seen the movie Donnie Darko. Well it’s called Mad World by Gary Jules, up to you if you want to listen. Not something I would usually listen to, but I do really like it.

A course reply

June 17, 2008

Well finally I have a reply in the form of a letter to invite me for an interview for a chance to join the BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design. So I’m pretty happy, seeing as how I have been waiting to hear from a course for September. Now I just need to send in my job application, to see if I can hopefully get a job in the hospital near me. Once I complete my goals of securing a course, finding a summer job and finishing off my drawing. Then I think that will be reason to start playing EMS again. Currently my character “Energy” is in wait for a new Server. I’m waiting to play him and start my dream of being a DEXless Thief. As well as recording each of my level up’s and general mapling endeavors. However the only thing I’m slightly skeptical about is whether I will fall back into the habit of playing too much. And being in my eyes socially retarded, because I like my photography, my art and my general life I have now. So I don’t think I will become some Maple addict. Well I hope to be starting soon, thanks to any persons out there bothering to keep up with my blog, if at all.

I’m bored

June 11, 2008

Well I’m bored, so here is a funny video for anyone else who’s bored. Seriously you should watch it; also it makes a lot more sense if you have ever played Counter-Strike.

Global warming and our self destruction

June 5, 2008

I urge every person who reads this to try and educate and tell others what we all need to hear. We will cause are own self extinction as well as all other life if we don’t start to act now. Scientists say we are at what they call a tipping point in climate change, currently temperature has changed very slightly. However that slight change in temperature is enough to cause it to go over and keep rising until the worst possible scenario’s we imagine will come true. “Humans have a problem where we believe everything is property, so basically lakes, rivers, forest and animals have no rights. Under this structure of law your either property or human”. That was said by one of the many individuals helping to educate us in the one off, The 11th Hour. Our political leaders and very responsive, however only to money and power, this will be our downfall. All the trees we cut down cause’s massive floods, this is due to the fact a tree can suck up hundreds upon hundreds of gallons of water, with the rate we cut trees, burn fossil fuels it will be too late. About 90% of the original big fish in the sea are gone, mainly because of our actions. We need to come up with a harmony and balance with nature if we want to survive. Thousands of years ago we would just live off sun light, then we discovered small basically pockets of sun light in the earth which where oil, coal which gave us massive amount of energy to do things with. However due to this over use we are now in a massive crisis that needs our help. So to help yourselves you first need to help out. I urge you to watch The 11th Hour, it is very chilling. But it will open your eyes to help you see what’s really happening. “We as a race are living in an enormously challenging time, now I believe in the resilience of nature. So when the human species is gone life will probably start to flourish again.” Quoted from The 11th Hour, it is true life will not be gone even if we so radically alter habitats, however as species at the top of the food chain we are the most vulnerable. Life has existed on Earth for 3 billion or more years, and the fact is 99.999% of life in that time has become extinct. So extinction is a natural part of life, extinction is what makes life change and flourish. The tragedy of ours species is we are an infant species, we are taking down 50 to 55,000 species a year are going extinct because of our actions. It’s not the potential extinction of human kind that is sad, but the enormous extinction crisis that we are causing now.

Bored

June 4, 2008

Well at the moment I’m very bored, and in all honesty I can be bothered to wait for a new Server, my real life friends play in Kradia so yeah. However I still plan to start playing EMS again when a new Server comes. First I want to secure a course to take in September in Community Art College, and also to get a job to pay for a gym. I figure I might as well complete these goals before starting EMS again. Not to mention seeing as how I’m going a DEXless Thief, I need a job for funding. However obviously I’m not going to spend every penny I have on this game *Cough*. My plan for when I start is to record every level up, and to take screenshots at least everyday. It would be similar to IAngeliaI’s blog but of a slightly different style, you will see in all good time. I’ve also got my first avatar planned out, plus my picture is almost finished to post on Basil Market as well as the screenshot forum on EMS’s website. Peace out guys to the very small amount of viewers I have.
